PRINTERS WIPERS
Our service starts with a free survey to help us understand
your requirements. This survey highlights the number and
type of wipers you will require. Our wipes are supplied
in bags of approximately 300 standard wipers and 150 jumbo
wipers. These wipers will be recycled. We can also supply
new wipes if required.
The bags of returned used wipers will be exchanged on
a like-for-like basis leaving your stock at a constant
level. Delivery notes will be supplied with each delivery
and will tie up exactly with the invoice at the end of
each month, or week if required.
The wipers will be returned to our plant at East Kilbride
where they will be processed, sorted, bagged and dispatched
for re-use.
The bags supplied are compliant with the UN Certificate
required for the carriage of dangerous goods.
Oily Rags and Associated Waste
This waste arrives in IBC's and occasionally 205 litre drums. The waste is sorted and items that can be recovered such as oily rags and some absorbent pads are put through a separation system, which extracts oils etc. The rags etc are then placed in our automated cleaning system, which will thoroughly wash and dry them before passing them onto checking and passing through a metal detector prior to packing.
Other waste, which is deemed unsuitable for recycling, is pressed to extract the bulk of the oil etc and then processed through our specialist wash system to reduce contaminants to almost zero. The clean waste then goes to landfill.
